Being raised in a right handed world, Tim was discouraged from using his left hand which was his natural tendency. In 2012, during an arson investigation course, Tim realized that if he took notes left handed he could remain focused on the instructor’s words. When using his right hand, he missed most of what the instructor said.

Seven years later in April 2019, Tim purchased a drawing pad and some pencils to fill some spare time. Having no experience and absolutely no skill, it would become quickly apparent that he was on the right track naturally. He found that drawing turned into a therapeutic experience that he could not walk away from.

In the spring of 2023, Tim discovered his passion for watercolor which has become his medium of choice. Tim pours emotion into each one of his works; each piece having its own character focusing on a specific subject with unique simplicity. He hopes that you will find as much joy viewing his work as he did in creating it.
