Teresa began painting at the age of five, when she received her first oil painting set. Her love of creating was ignited, which has continued throughout her life.

Teresa holds a degree in Fine Arts from Bard College. Her work has been shown at The Tivoli Artist’s Co-Op and The Woodstock Artist Association in upstate New York. She also owned her own gallery, The Last Detail, where she showcased local artist’s works and worked making hand-painted furniture. She is currently based in Fayetteville, Georgia, wanting to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Locally, you can find her work at The Dogwood Gallery in Tyrone, Georgia, or at her home studio in Fayetteville. Most recently she was awarded 2nd place at the 2021 Magnolia Arts Festival in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Teresa has a foundation and passion for oil painting, but has worked in many mediums, including collage and encaustics. During the 2020 Covid pandemic, her art shifted when she began painting acrylic Mandalas on rocks for her garden. Finding it very meditative, she expanded the “dot” paintings and Mandalas onto canvas, creating powerful landscapes in bright colors. This style of painting has become the focal point of her work as she has expanded the size, intricacy and subject matter.
