I hope you enjoy my “fun” art and maybe
I’ll see you at one of my art events soon! |
I’m an urban sketcher and watercolor artist. I’m originally from Alabama… but I now live in the beautiful and artful city of Newnan, Georgia.
Historical old homes and buildings really fascinate me. I started out painting them in acrylic, but now use ink and watercolor in a non-traditional style. My art has been called whimsey, cartoony, playful, and even quirky. But, I like to call it fun! It’s definitely unique among most art you normally see. Actually… I believe my art is the result of being a cartoonist at heart, along with a lifelong interest in old buildings and vehicles. Thanks to the internet and social media, my art hangs in many homes and businesses all over the US. I enjoy going to fairs & festivals to share my work with as many art patrons as possible. In fact, nothing pleases me more than to see someone excited about artwork that I’ve created. If you’re curious about seeing or knowing more about my art… just swing by my website, ronmancilart.com. You can even sign up for my newsletter that comes out a couple times a year. Here are some Newnan locations where my art can be seen: Fine Line Art and Framing Gallery, The Carnegie Library, The Mad Mexican, Sprayberry’s BBQ, The Oink Joint, Newnan High School Athletic Office, and many homes and offices around town. |
