I was born in Stuttgart, Germany, a military brat. I then moved to my hometown, Augusta, Georgia, where I attended school and then moved to Newnan, Georgia, where I still happily reside with my husband.
As a child, I loved art of any and all forms! I was president of my high school Art Club in my junior and senior years. I was voted most artistic - senior superlative and was presented with several scholarships to highly accredited art institutes. Unfortunately for me, life took a different turn, and I abandoned my dream. My artistic journey is now coming around full circle. I proudly call myself an artist. In high school I had a love for drawing with colored pencils but I've since found an affinity for abstract painting with acrylics. I love the bold colors, heavy textures and metallic foils. As a self taught artist, I'm on a never ending journey to find my niche and paint my world in living color! |
