Two exceptional artists from the Newnan-Coweta Art Association will be on exhibit at the PTC Library thru November 1, 2022. The exhibit includes the paintings of Martin Pate, and the multimedia works of Yana Pindorvan.
Martin Pate was born in South Carolina. He graduated from Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida in 1981. He has worked as a professional artist since then. Martin’s ability to paint people and historic sites has led to over 30 years of commissions with the National Park Service. Paintings of Native Americans, Civil War battles, The Underground Railroad, The Battle of the Little Bighorn and many others are used by the NPS for educational purposes. Martin’s gallery paintings include the figure, southern landscapes, interiors and still life’s and have found collectors across the country as well as internationally. Yana Pindorvan is a local art and craft designer from Newnan,GA and a member of the Newnan-Coweta Art Association. She is originally from Ukraine.
