Judith "Judy" Walker

As an abstract expressionist, my art is a reflection of a deep engagement with Zen painting, where freedom, effortlessness, and natural flow take center stage. In this meditative practice, where the painter and the painted become one, each stroke emerges without planning or struggle, transcending the usual academic and conceptual methods. This approach explores the depths of consciousness, revealing patterns that shift and evolve with every moment. Watercolor, with its dynamic movement across the paper, serves as the perfect medium for this expressive journey—an aquatic collaboration, a fluid dance
My paintings are done with watercolor, and metallic watercolor, on Yupo paper, then sealed with an archival sealer.
