The Newnan-Coweta Art Association encourages artists to produce original works of art in all mediums and to display those works in Coweta County and the surrounding areas.  The Association also fosters art education by supporting the arts in Coweta County schools and by promoting the  appreciation of works of art in our community.

General Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, with the exception of June and July, at the Harriet Alexander Art House in Newnan, GA.  Registration and refreshments open at 6:30 PM, and the Meetings begin at 7:00 PM.  Guests are always welcome!

NEXT MEMBER MEETING:  Join us on Monday, April 21, 2025,  at the Harriet Alexander Art Center (Art House), 31 Hospital Road, Newnan.  Registration and Refreshments start at 6:30 pm.  Meeting begins at 7:00 pm.  Our Presenter, following the brief business meeting, will be Charles Tryon, Sculptor and Figure Drawing/Painting. 

ARTS & CRAFTS MARKET AT THE AVENUE:  NCAA Artists and Crafters will be on the center green at The Avenue in Peachtree City, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 3:00-7:30 PM, in conjunction with their Earth Day Festival (5:00-7:30 PM).  We encourage everyone to stop by the Market and support our artists! 

18th ANNUAL JURIED MEMBER ART EXHIBIT:  The Call for Submissions and Entry Applications were mailed out on Friday, April 4.  The Juried Exhibit will be held at The Nixon Centre Black Box, Newnan.  Exhibit dates are July 23 – August 27, 2025.  If you haven’t yet started creating your pieces, we encourage you to do so now.  Each artist can submit up to 3 entries and all mediums are welcome.  Please be sure to read the specifications and entry details on the Call for Submissions.  All entries must be received by Saturday, June 14.
