The Newnan-Coweta Art Association encourages artists to produce original works of art in all mediums and to display those works in Coweta County and the surrounding areas.  The Association also fosters art education by supporting the arts in Coweta County schools and by promoting the  appreciation of works of art in our community.

General Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, with the exception of June and July, at the Harriet Alexander Art House in Newnan, GA.  Registration and refreshments open at 6:30 PM, and the Meetings begin at 7:00 PM.  Guests are always welcome!

News & Events

NCAA Members are invited and encouraged to attend a fun-filled evening of good food, great fellowship, and tons of fun!  Spouses/significant others are welcome!  Installation of the NCAA 2025 Board Members will take place at this meeting.  Each person attending, please bring a "White Elephant" wrapped gift ($15 Max).  The gift exchange is intended to be amusing, impractical, and entertaining -- just for fun -- and always brings a lot of laughs!  RSVP no later than  Tues, Dec 3, 2024 to Teresa at [email protected].  Include the number attending and the side dish or dessert you would like to bring. 
NCAA HONORARY MEMBERSHIP:  DAVID BOYD, JR.
In grateful appreciation of David's dedication to advancing art education and art appreciation; and for his exemplary support to the Newnan-Coweta Art Association and the art community at large, the 2024 NCAA Board is pleased to grant a lifetime Honorary Membership in the NCAA to David Boyd, Jr.  The Induction Ceremony was held at the November 18, 2024, Member meeting.

THANK YOU to the Coweta County Event Services, Vendors, and Volunteers for your assistance in the success of our 54th Christmas Arts & Crafts Market held on November 1-3, 2024.  The NCAA enjoys hosting this memorable event for the community each year.  Highlighting the event were special visits by the Tinseltones (carolers), the JOY Crew (local radio), and Santa & Mrs. Claus, all of whom brought loads of pre-holiday cheer our way.
