Harmony James is a Southern Artist and Storyteller.  Her passion for art started in childhood and has grown into a primary vessel for processing this great, big life.  Her work is influenced by the vibrant colors and textures of the world around her.  Most of her pieces land somewhere near abstract, contemporary, and expressionist art styles. 

James allows the layers of her time and experience to create breathtaking depths of expression.  It is the richness of these depths that give her paintings a world of their own and a meaning to carry out into the world, to live and love with.

​She studied art and writing at Georgia State University and works with many different mediums; acrylic, spray paint, charcoal, etc.  As far back as she remembers, James has been making messes with paints and pens on surfaces, exploring themes of love and power.
