Artist Rae Duncan will hold a workshop for “Giant Décor Sunflowers” on March 22, 2017 at the Central Library from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Free to the public, but attendees must register by calling 770-683-2052 to reserve a place. Seating is limited!

Beginning on March 13th, Tina Persons will be teaching a class on how to make a family tree.  The finished tree will be 22″ x 28″ and ready to be framed.  Fine Lines in Newnan will custom make frames.  Michaels (The Arts & Crafts Store) will also frame. Tina will supply instruction as well as all supplies (except frame). The class is $20 and lasts one hour (finish at home).  Class times are from 2-3 pm and again from 6-8 pm…

Molly Rose Freeman, Newnan’s Artist in Residence, will be painting the mural on the wall at the Alamo this week. Anyone who would like to participate in the mural painting may stop by to paint on Wednesday the 27th and/or Thursday the 28th. Painting supplies will be provided!
