Japanese Papers & Techniques with Christina Laurel

An introduction to Japanese papers, including Shoji paper; Suminagashi – Japanese ink marbling; Konnyaku starch that makes paper fabric-like, and more.  See how the artist uses prepared and found papers in her 2-D collages and 3-D installations. Demonstrations and hands-on exploration.
