Mural Painting for Pathways Children’s Crisis Center

Newnan Coweta Art Association members are working on a new mural painting in the Pathways Children’s Crisis Center this summer. The sketch was drawn on by Margo Merrifield (pictured left) and NCAA members are assisting with the painting. Newnan Artists recognized for Calumet Public Art Project

Four Newnan artists were honored for their volunteer time in working with Newnan Utilities to beautify the electrical boxes in the Calumet neighborhood of Newnan, GA. The artists are Jenny Jones, Janet Burns, Karen DeFelix and Richard Pierce. Each of these artists worked on painting an original work of art on the large utility boxes placed throughout the neighborhood.
